Route A 8th Day

Today is April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day. There are flags everywhere we go. We are telling to our photographers the importance of today.

We are leaving from Sanlıurfa early in the morning. We are all excited today because we are going to one of the most exciting destinations of our route, Adıyaman.

We will be on the top of Mount Nemrut in the presence of gods at the end of the day. Firstly, we stop by Ataturk Dam. The Euphrates river, which is a subject for many movies, legends, folk songs, nourishes the Harran Plain from Ataturk Dam. After leaving from the dam, we stop on a bridge and take photos of mountains and sky that is reflected in the water of river. When we arrive at Adıyaman, we have still an opportunity to visit the bazaar before going to Nemrut. 

Blacksmiths, coppersmiths, cotton sellers, tobacco sellers and the other shopkeepers are sitting on their chairs in front of the shops and having a chat. We set off for Nemrut in the afternoon. After 2 hours of driving, breathlessly walking on a path and climbing steep stairs, we are eventually on the top of Nemrut.

while you are going to legendary places as Nemrut, expectations are too high. But our feelings are utterly different. the sun looks as if it is going down slowly to let us take photos as many as we want.
