Route A 4thDay

We are leaving from Blacksea and moving to East Anatolia by passing through mountains. Next destination is Kars.

We are driving to high elevation in winding roads as we did yesterday. When we pass through Kackar Mountains, landscape and season change in every curve. We are in the spring when we drive through a curve, we are in the winter through another curve. Our Indonesian photographer Putri is so excited when we drive through snow. We learned that Putri saw snow first time in her life That's why we stop to meet her with snow. Who is more excited? Us or Putri, who got off
the bus by screaming and laughing? We all got off the bus and threw snowball to Putri. Since snow melted, snowballs is not a ball-sized, they are marble-sized.

We are passing by water that comes from melted snow on Kackar Mountains and passing by lakes like a mirror to sky through our journey. Instagrammers want to stop everywhere to take photos but we should arrive at Ani Ruins before sunset.

After 10 hours driving, we arrive at Ani. while we are coming through the gate of Ani, we understand that it will be difficult to leave from here. This place is magical. The sun keeps going down behind the mountains that are natural borders between Armenia and Turkey. After a while, the big Cathedral (Fethiye Mosque) on the left and Abdulhamrants Church on the right welcome us. These structures were built by using red stones and they are sanctuary for hundreds of birds now. The singing birds charm our team, who has already charmed by what they saw. Everybody is walking on the ground and taking photos without talking. The good luck that starts with dolphins in Istanbul continues here and three magnificent horses emerge suddenly.
