We saw 12 gorgeous cities from Route A. We passed long roads through region of Black sea, region of Eastern Anatolia and region of Southeast Anatolia. When we were ready to set off for Route B with new photographers, we got sad news and stopped our all social media activity. Our photographers who came from all over the world shared our pain for Soma and posted photos that show our sadness. While our mind and our heart are with miners who lost their lives and with their families. It is difficult to concentrate our trip but we have to set off.
We are in Istanbul again for first 2 days. We are going to Uskudar from Kabatas by boat in the morning. We are taking photos of Maiden's tower and the gorgeous European side landscape of old Istanbul. Sometimes small boats and vessels, sometimes seagulls are passing in front of us to adorn our photos.
We say goodbye to the Maiden's tower, which is one of the most photographed place in the world, and we are going to another area, Balat. We began our Balat trip from the point that has famous photo with a cat in front of colorful houses. We encounter with street cats, dogs and even almost tame seagulls. We are leaving from Balat in the afternoon and take a small boat for Bosphorus. We are like in a movie set with Anatolian fortress, Bosphorus houses and giant freight ships that pass in front of us. We are taking a small tour in Karakoy and Eminonu Before Galata Bridge where we are going to watch sunset on when we come back. It is a gift for all of us to finish the day in the shining Golden Horn. We should go now and prepare for tomorrow.
